Sara Birch takes the Tri-Zone Newcomers Second Round

The Tri-Zone Newcomers Second Round was held at Pyecombe Horse Show on the 1st August 2009. Sara Birch from Hampshire has secured her qualifying place at The Horse of the Year Show.
Sara was riding her own eight year old dapple grey gelding Upperclass M. The winning pair had three clear rounds in a jump off time of 38.44 seconds. Second place went to Edward Brook from Hertfordshire who jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 39.81 seconds. Edward was riding his own seven year old bay stallion Vahorn. Shane Breen from West Sussex took the third place honour riding his own six year old bay gelding, Cos I Can. Shane also jumped three clear rounds with a jump off time of 39.90 seconds.
