Pony British Novice at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre

Twenty-nine starters came forward to contest the Pony British Novice Second Round on Sunday at Kings Sedgemoor Equestrian Centre in Gloucestershire.
With ten qualification places on offer for the Pony British Novice Championship Final which will be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August, it proved to be a competitive class right down to the final jump off.
Ten year-old Sophie Wallace from Stroud, Gloucestershire jumped in to first place on board Roland Wallace’s 10 year-old chestnut gelding, Ffrydlan Deio. This pair produced a treble clear and stopped the clock in just 39.80 seconds.
