LONGINES GLOBAL CHAMPIONS TOUR OF MIAMI BEACH

Back at one of the most breathtaking destinations on the Longines Global Champions Tour, Miami Beach is set for a formidable line-up of the world’s top show jumpers and horses. The second leg of the 2023 Championship promises an edge-of-the-seat weekend of top sport and an unforgettable lifestyle experience in the coastal resort famous for its legendary nightlife and art deco architecture.
After a change to the weather forecast, the Longines Global Champions Tour of Miami Beach will now run from Friday 14 April - Sunday 16 April. The Global Champions League will take place on Friday, 14 April (16.30 EDT / 21.30 BST) whilst the CSI 5* Longines Global Champions Tour Grand Prix will take place on Saturday, 15 April (14.45 EDT / 19.45 BST). The competition can be watched live on GCTV - you’ll need a subscription to tune in. You can also follow along on the Global Champions Tour website, and Facebook and Instagram accounts.
Great Britain will be represented by Scott Brash who rides Lady Harris and Lady Kirkham’s Hello Mr President and Hello Valentino, and Sam Hutton who rides AS Trading’s Verona 13 and Casablanca H, owned by HG Sportpaarden B.V.
As well as jumping in the individual Global Champions Tour competition, both Scott and Sam will take part in the Global Champions League. Scott will jump for the New York Empires alongside Ireland’s Denis Lynch and USA’s Spencer Smith. Sam will jump with the Shanghai Swans alongside the Germany pairing of Daniel Deusser and Christian Ahlmann.
Don’t forget, The Longines Global Champion Tour is returning to the Royal Chelsea Hospital, London from 10-13 August. Competition from 2* through to 5* Grand Prix and GCL classes all in four days of incredible sporting action are promised, with hospitality and entertainment to suit the entire family.
