Katie Benbow wins the Horseware Bronze League Qualifier at Arena UK

Arena UK in Grantham, Lincolnshire saw fifty-seven keen combinations gather to take part in the Horseware Bronze League Qualifier and it was Katie Benbow who secured the win after three fantastic rounds of showjumping.

Each competitor started the class with high hopes of claiming one of the three qualification spots available for the Horseware Bronze League Semi Finals, which will run in August.

Following two closely fought rounds, just thirteen remained for the final jump off where all eyes fell on the clock to decide the winner.

Katie from Tunstall in North Yorkshire rode Westpoint Ferdinand, a 16 year-old bay gelding owned by Beverley Aitkenhead in to the lead after producing three accurate clear rounds. This combination kept their focus as they went in to the jump off where they managed to cross the finish line with all the fences still standing in 34.85 seconds.
