I am Hektor takes the KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Round at the Cabin EC

The Cabin Equestrian Centre in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire hosted the KBIS Insurance British Novice Second Round which had one Cushionbed British Showjumping scope Festival Qualification ticket up for grabs.
Three combinations made it though to the third round to jump off against the clock and tt was Fife based Sandra Low-Mitchell that came out on top taking the win. Riding Nicholas Brown’s seven year old liver chestnut gelding I am Hektor, Sandra was the sole clear in the final round.
Taking second position with an unfortunate pole down in the final round was local rider Laura Smith. Nineteen year old Laura partnered her mother’s (Teresa) six year old chestnut mare Lefeva.
Third place went to the only other competitor to make it though to the final jump off, Lanarkshire based Margo King riding her own six year old dark bay gelding Hagen V.

The Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival 2011 will take place from Sunday 28th August to Saturday 3rd September at Stafford County Showground.
