Gunning for the Horse of the Year Show

Fifteen year old Stephanie Gunn from Orston, Nottingham has earned her place in the Championship Final which will take place at the Horse of the Year Show later in the year. Stephanie jumped to win at the Blue Chip Junior Newcomers second round held at Port Royal on the 4th July 2009.
Stephanie was riding Amanda Millward’s eight year old grey mare, Cool Diamond who jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 44.23 seconds. Second place went to Christie Pritchard from Holyhead, Gwynedd who was riding Fiona Pond’s eight year old bay gelding Bear me in Mind. The pair jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 45.15 seconds. Closely behind in third was Lowri Ball from Middlesborough, Cleveland who jumped three clear rounds in a jump off time of 45.63 seconds riding Martin Ball’s ten year old black mare Treacle Candy.
