FRANCE TAKE INDIVIDUAL HONOURS

Frenchman Kevin Staut won the Individual Gold Medal in this afternoon’s final competition of the 2009 Alltech FEI European Jumping Championships held at Windsor Castle.

 

British hopes were dashed when Ben Maher and Robin Hood W, lying in silver medal position at the start of todays competition, finished on a total score of 23.30 to take fifteenth position overall. Tim Stockdale and Fresh Direct Corlato lowered four fences in the first round of this afternoon’s final, and Tim electing to not jump again in the second, finished the competition in twenty fifth position.

 

The Individual Gold medal went to France in the form of Kevin Staut riding the bay stallion Kraque Boom Bois Margot, jumping two foot perfect rounds, with Germany’s Carsten-Otto Nagel taking the Silver and The Netherlands’ Albert Zoer in the Bronze medal position.
