FIRST HORSE & HOUND FOXHUNTER SECOND ROUND AT TOWERLANDS

Ireland’s Anthony Condon and Britain’s Nicole Pavitt took the first two qualifying places for the 2010 Horse and Hound Foxhunter at Towerlands Equestrian Centre in early June.
 
Anthony based in Cheshire with Billy Twomey rode Rachel Steel’s Wild Thing
to win the class with a fast clear jump off round in 36.36 seconds.
Nicole from Crawley, West Sussex, second to go in the final jump off, completed a fast clear with Old Lodge’s Abeer in 36.74 seconds and led until ‘pipped at the post’ by Anthony who went fourteen horses later.
 
Third place went to Damien Charles riding Andy Rothery’s Mid Summer Nights Dream, fourth to Anthony Condon with Gillian Morrison’s Molly Malone VI and fifth to Simon Crippen riding Jenny Bingham’s Wembley III.
 
The first five combinations also qualified to compete at the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival being held at Stafford County Showground from 29th August to 4th September 2010.
