Dyfed Show Equissage Discovery Second Round
Monday 13 June 2011

The Dyfed Show held an Equissage Discovery second round this weekend and saw some very testing conditions. After a venue move to Cothi Bridge Show ground for Sunday the weather attacked with vengeance with rain not giving in all day.
Course builder Raf Suarez built a superb course that took all the conditions in to account, but unfortunately with only eight starters in the class there were only saw competitors make it into the second round.
It was Dyfed based Paul Evans riding his own ten year old bay gelding X L that managed to jump two clears to take the win and sole qualification for the Cushionbed British Showjumping Scope Festival.
Second place was fifteen year old Charlotte Hayward from Dyfed riding her mothers (Wendy) nine year old bay gelding Mynydd Maverick who just rolled a pole in the second round leaving her on four faults.
