Bootleg Beatles are playing Liverpool International Horse Show!
Coinciding with the 50th anniversary of The Beatles’ last UK tour – and indeed the 25th anniversary of The Bootleg Beatles’s first – the band are delighted to be undertaking a December 2015 tour of the UK, performing at many of the same cities.
Part of their whistle stop tour includes the inaugural Liverpool International Horse Show where they will be playing two performances a day from 1st - 3rd January 2016.
This high energy event will take place on the city's waterfront over the New Year holiday and is the newest international sporting event to be held in Liverpool.
All 3 days of this brand new show will be action-packed with world class sporting action from the UK's best riders including two of Team GB's Olympic gold-medallists as the greatest show jumpers from around the globe, who are travelling to Liverpool for this spectacular show.
Visitors heading to this high-energy show will get to enjoy, food, fashion and family entertainment all taking place around the unforgettable showcase of world-class show jumping action in the main arena. Each performance will be packed with captivating, family-friendly entertainment as well as The Bootleg Beatles each performance includes the Bella Voci opera duo, daring tricks from stunt rider Clemence Faivre and her beautiful Lusitano horses, as well as thrilling antics from the world-record breaking 'French Horseman' and the fire-breathing 'Black Fire Girls.'
Since the inception of the Bootleg Beatles in 1980 the band have performed hundreds of gigs across the globe, earning themselves an amazing reputation along the way. George Martin himself described the Bootleg Beatles experience as “A terrific show”, whilst the Mail On Sunday hailed their “Mind- boggling accuracy”.
Formed from the original cast of London’s West End hit show ‘Beatlemania’, The Bootleg Beatles have become 'an institution' in their own right with their note-perfect recreation of hits from every era of the world’s most famous songbook. Every tiny detail is meticulously covered from costumes to authentic period instruments; from the ‘Liverpudlian’ banter to their ‘inflection perfect’ vocal mimicry. But it’s not only their sound that is so authentic; they bear an uncanny resemblance to the Fab Four. As one reviewer recently said... “It’s not John Paul George and Ringo ... but you simply won’t believe it”. Highlights of the 2015 shows have included some memorable anniversary shows in Madrid and Barcelona and yet another triumphant Glastonbury set (has any band performed more often at this Festival?!)
There’s never been a better time to immerse yourself in the magic of the Bootleg Beatles – don’t miss a show that was described as “Off-the-scale fabulous” by BBC Radio’s Chris Evans, and “Flawless!” by Mojo Magazine. You’ll love them – Yeah Yeah Yeah!
