Corinne Collins Rode to Victory in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Field House Equestrian Centre

On a scorching Sunday morning at Field House Equestrian Centre in Marchington, Staffordshire, Corinne Collins rode to victory in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round and secured her place in August’s Championship Final.

With the end of the qualification period coming ever nearer, all ninety-five competitors were set on taking home a qualification place for the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final which will be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August. This huge field was soon whittled down until just twenty-eight were left to begin the final battle against the clock!

Showing her talent and using her late draw to full advantage, Corinne from Congleton, Cheshire rode a lightning fast round on board her own 6 year-old chestnut gelding, Fabienne C. This pair eased into first place, posting a treble clear in 44.19 seconds.

Jumping into second place was Mark Thompson from Findern, Derbyshire on board Michelle Yates’ 8 year-old chestnut gelding, Larino Z. This pair was drawn just before Corinne and they set a great challenge when they delivered their treble clear in 46.22 seconds.

Third place was secured by Camille Crow from Cannock, Staffordshire riding her own 6 year-old grey mare Felice II. This pair posted a treble clear just a fraction of a second behind Mark to slide into third place in a time of 46.25 seconds.

With another fifteen combinations also achieving a treble clear, a total of eighteen combinations now go forward to the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Championship Final.
