BRITS TAKE TOP SPOTS IN 20,000€ VILAMOURA GRAND PRIX

Scott Brash from Peebles in Scotland continued his good form in Portugal, winning the 20,000€ Hilton Vilamoura Grand Prix.

Scott riding Stanley Brash’s ten year-old black gelding Intertoy Z, jumped the fastest double clear of the seven man jump off to take victory from Britain’s leading lady rider, Laura Renwick. Laura from Maldon in Essex partnered Roller Coaster III, an eight year-old dark bay gelding, owned jointly by Laura’s husband John and his mother, Marian Renwick. The pairing jumped the second of three double clear rounds to finish ahead of Portugal’s Marina Frutuoso de Melo.
