British Showjumping’s Team NAF Youth Squads announced for Fontainebleau

Following an invitation to compete at the CSIO Nations Cup Competition in Fontainebleau, the following four youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF. The competition takes place between 28th April and 1st May 2022 at the Stade Equestre “Le Grand Parquet”.

Pony Squad
Poppy Deakin, aged 15 years from Dalton, Newcastle-upon-Tyne with the 12 year-old chestnut mare Armene du Costilg, owned by Kerstin Deakin.

Sophie Evans, aged 15 years from Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire with the 11 year-old bay stallion Oscar Van De Beekerheide, owned by ESM Equestrian.

Tabitha Kyle, aged 14 years from Loughborough in Leicestershire with the 13 year-old bay gelding Gangnam Style, owned by TJ Hall Limited.

Izabella Rogers, aged 14 years from Chelmsford in Essex with the 9 year-old grey mare Queen Star, owned by Nicola Rogers.

Madison Seedhouse, aged 15 years from Burton-on-Trent, Staffordshire with the 18 year-old chestnut gelding Quaprice, owned by ESM Equestrian.

Children Squad
Noora von Bülow, aged 13 years from London with the 12 year-old mare Lucky Lisa, owned by Sharifa Al-Homaizi.

Rosie Campbell, aged 12 years from Moreton-In-Marsh in Gloucestershire with the 12 year-old bay mare Appy Du Chalet, owned by Lucinda Campbell.

Alfie Diaper, aged 12 years from Dorset with the 15 year old bay mare Curosa III, owned by Helen Diaper.

Emily Gulliver, aged 12 years from London with the 11 year old chestnut gelding Penninsula Buckle Up, Owned by Ben Gulliver.

Chloe Mae Morris, aged 13 years from Harpenden in Hertfordshire with either the 10 year old bay mare Heidiemorka, owned by Emma Ziff, or the 14 year old grey gelding Darona, owned by Penelope Cornish.
 

Junior Squad
Jennifer Billington, aged 17 years from Wrexham in Wales, with the 11 year old bay gelding, Flipper Darco UK Z, owned by Paul Billington.

Iwan Carpenter, aged 18 years old from Clwyd in Wales, with the 11 year old bay stallion, Merllyns Chocca Nova, owned by Morgan Carpenter.

Claudia Moore, aged 17 years old from Brentwood in Essex, with the 10 year old bay mare, Hardesther, owned by Katrina Moore.

Red Morgan, aged 18 years old from Malpas in Cheshire, with the 11 year old grey gelding, Golia, owned by Redline Equestrian and Steve Morgan.

Eleanor Simpson, aged 16 years old from Newton Abbott in Devon, with the 11 year old grey mare, Galinka VDL, owned by Susan Simpson.
 

Young Riders Squad
India Bussey, aged 21 from Norwich in Norfolk, with 12 year old bay mare, Fahra ES, owned by ESM Equestrian.

Elizabeth Baker, aged 19 years old from Sanwich in Kent, with her own 14 year old bay gelding, Uno Du Thot.

Antonia Platt, aged 20 from Chelmsford in Essex, with either Amigo or Marvin Van De Waterhoeve, both 11 year old bay geldings owned by Rosalind Platt.

Faye Sutton, aged 19 from Whitchurch in Shropshire, with the 9 year old dapple grey mare, Spider, owned by Jacqueline Sutton.

Ava Vernon, aged 18 years old from Skegness in Lincolnshire, with the 9 year old bay gelding, Billy Trysil, owned by Dean Vernon.

 

The Chef d’Equipe for the Pony and Children team will be Clare Whitaker and the Chef d’Equipe for the Junior and Young Rider team will be Tony Newbery. The Nations Cup and Grand Prix competitions will take place on the following days:

Ponies – Nations Cup on Saturday 30th April and the Grand Prix on Sunday 1st May.
Children – Nations Cup on Saturday 30th April and the Grand Prix on Sunday 1st May.
Juniors – Nations Cup on Friday 29th April and the Grand Prix on Sunday 1st May.
Young Riders – Nations Cup on Friday 29th April and the Grand Prix on Sunday 1st May.
