British Showjumping’s Team NAF Children & Junior European Championship Squads Announced

The following squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children and Junior European Championships in Samorin, Slovakia. The competition takes place between the 8th – 13th August 2017 at the x-bionic® equestor sphere.

Children

Oliver Fletcher, aged 14, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with either Dahar, a 9 year-old chestnut mare owned by Graham Fletcher, Hello Disckoboy D.N., a 9 year-old grey gelding owned by Lady Kirkham and Lady Harris or Little Business, an 11 year-old British bred bay mare owned by Graham Fletcher

Matilda Lanni, aged 13, from Peterborough, Cambridgeshire with Newbridge’s Master Brown, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Stacey Webb

Jocasta Symons, aged 14, from Marlborough, Wiltshire with the British bred Concordette RR, a 10 year-old bay mare owned by Julie Symons

Angel Tough, aged 14, from Manchester with the British bred Callumbus, a 10 year-old bay gelding owned by Emerson Tough

Holly Truelove, aged 14, from Brigg, Lincolnshire with Golly Girl, an 11 year-old chestnut mare owned by Barrie Truelove

Junior

Harry Charles, aged 17 (turns 18 on 15/07/2017), from Alton, Hampshire with Vivaldi Du Dom, a 12 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Peter Charles MBE

Scarlett Charles, aged 16, from Alton, Hampshire with Sacree Du Rouet, an 11 year-old bay mare owned by Peter Charles MBE

Jodie Hall Mcateer, aged 17, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire with Coquin De Coquerie Z, an 8 year-old bay stallion owned by Mandy Hall

Robert Murphy, aged 16, from Preston, Lancashire with Del Fuego, a 14 year-old bay gelding owned by Eleni Murphy and Catherine Witt

Jack Whitaker, aged 15, from Whatton, Nottinghamshire with Street Hassle, an 11 year-old bay stallion owned by Michael Whitaker

The Children Team medals will be decided on Thursday 10th August whilst the Junior Team medals will be decided on Friday 11th August. The Children will then compete for their Individual medals on Saturday 12th August whilst the Juniors will jump for their respective Individual medals on Sunday 13th August. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
