BRITISH SHOWJUMPING STEWARDS HEARING

Following the Stewards Hearing on Tuesday, 13^th October 2009,  the Stewards of British Showjumping imposed the following penalties:-

Mr Vin Prater, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

The Stewards sustained against Mr Vin Prater, that he used abusive and threatening language and behaviour and physically assaulted a show Judge, whilst at the Addington Manor show, held on the 2^nd December 2008. Mr Vin Prater was found to have contravened rules 82.2 and 82.11.

The Stewards directed that Mr Vin Prater be fined £3,000, Severely Reprimanded and Cautioned as to his future behaviour and all rights and privileges of membership of the Association suspended for a period of three years.

Mr Ryan Prater, Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire

The Stewards sustained against Mr Ryan Prater, that he used abusive and threatening language and behaviour towards a show Judge, whilst at the Addington Manor show, held on the 2^nd December 2008. Mr Ryan Prater was found to have contravened rules 82.2 and 82.11.

The Stewards directed that Mr Ryan Prater be fined £750 and all rights and privileges of membership of the Association suspended for a period of three months.
