Action packed weekend of competition for the Equiyd National Amateur Championship Second Rounds at Tillyoch Equestrian

It was an action packed weekend of competition at Tillyoch Equestrian, Aberdeen, for the Amateur Championships Second Rounds. Across the four classes, riders jumped technical courses built by Sarah Hamilton, which tested the level of accuracy and precision needed to secure a place at the Championship Final.
Equiyd 85cm National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Round
Four rider combinations jumped clear to make it through to the second round of the 85cm National Amateur Championship class.
Lucy Macgregor secured an impressive win on Laura Macgregor's Queen Mac, producing a fantastic clear in a time of 38.48 seconds. Lana Kemp and Hotline took home second place with a clear in 46.01 seconds, followed by Emma Katz riding her own Happy Boy in third place with a clear in a time of 57.97 seconds.
Equiyd 95cm National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Round
In a thrilling Second Round of the Equiyd 95cm National Amateur Championship class, it was Jessica Rachael Lovie that took the win aboard Karen Lovie’s Pond Orion, with an impressive clear in a time of 42.14 seconds. Also heading to the final was Ellie Pender, riding her own Solstice Star to complete those who have qualified.
Equiyd 1.05m National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Round
Three combinations competed in the 1.05 qualifier, seeing just one clear round from Sarah Forsyth, riding her own The Spaniard V, in the first round. Choosing to withdraw from the second round to save her horse for another day.
Equiyd 1.10m National Amateur Championship Qualifier - Second Round
Alicks Ramsay-Brown riding their own, Jemairo, took the win in the 1.10, producing a lovely clear round around a big and technical track.
