Scott Brash is On Top in this Week's Interational Round-Up

CSIO5* Barcelona

British showjumper Scott Brash continued his remarkable 2025 season with a standout performance at the CSIO5* Grand Prix of the City of Barcelona, part of the Longines League of Nations Final show. Riding the ten-year-old mare Hello Folie, owned by Lady Pauline Harris and Lady Pauline Kirkham, Brash produced two flawless rounds to secure victory, stopping the clock in 52.12 seconds in the decisive second round—a time that proved unbeatable by his competitors. Alex Matz (USA) finished second with Ikigai, while Piergiorgio Bucci (ITA) claimed third with Kiss Me Fabulesse. The technical course, designed by Santiago Varela, tested precision and rhythm, keeping the outcome open until the very last fence.

Brash’s success in Barcelona was just part of an exceptional week. Riding Hello Jefferson, he was also a key member of the victorious British team in the Longines League of Nations Final, showcasing his skill and consistency on the international stage. Earlier this year, Brash and Hello Folie achieved European double silver medals, earning recognition both individually and as part of the team, further cementing their status among Europe’s elite combinations.

With multiple top-level victories and international medals already this season, Scott Brash continues to demonstrate remarkable form, blending precision, experience, and a winning edge that keeps him at the forefront of global showjumping.

Morocco Royal Tour

Great Britain’s Joe Whitaker delivered an outstanding performance at the Morocco Royal Tour CSI4* 1.50m Grand Prix Qualifier, finishing as the top British rider in second place aboard Hulahupe JR with a fault-free round in 63.85 seconds. Italy’s Emanuele Guadiano claimed victory on Julius D with a flawless 63.32-second round, while France’s Charles Henri Ferme secured third place with Katmandu in 66.45 seconds. Fellow Briton Jane Annett and Impala rode a clear round to finish fifth in 69.99 seconds, and Chloe Aston with Akito Van Rocherath completed the leaderboard in sixth, recording one time fault in 71.92 seconds. The event showcased thrilling speed and precision, with British riders demonstrating impressive form on the international stage.
