Results from the Dodson & Horrell National Amateur & Veteran Championships 2019

This year’s Dodson & Horrell National Amateur & Veteran Championships was a bumper year for entries and following six jam packed days of showjumping, the 2019 Champions have now been crowned. The Championships took place at Aintree Equestrian Centre during the 12th - 17th November and the results were as follows:

The National Amateur 0.85m Championship was taken by Georgina Beeson from Grindley, Staffordshire and she was on board Jazzy Footwork, a 13 year-old bay mare owned by Barbara Beeson

Lorna Simpson from Colchester, Essex headed the National Amateur 0.95m Championship on her own 14 year-old grey mare Zilver Bling

The winner of the National Amateur 1.05m Championship was Jenna Cairns from Macclesfield, Cheshire on her own 16 year-old grey mare Wonderful III

Cerys Withey from Bexley, Kent scooped the National Amateur 1.10m Championship on Apart EA, a 14 year-old bay gelding owned by Samantha Withey

The Minor Veteran Riders Championship was won by Mark Thompson from Findern, Derbyshire and he rode Hunky Dory III, a 12 year-old chestnut mare owned by Michelle Yates

Julia Hardy became the Major Veteran Riders Champion with her own 9 year-old chestnut gelding Mista Blue
