Callum Doherty wins the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Norfolk Show Jumping Club on Creevagh Ashling.

Potential stunt rider Callum Doherty sped to victory in the Nupafeed Supplements Senior Discovery Second Round at Norfolk Show Jumping Club with Creevagh Ashling.
“I wasn’t expecting the win, it was our first time jumping on grass but it wasn’t an issue and she jumped well,” said Callum, 18, who is based in Halstead, Essex, and currently training to be a stunt rider.
“I have learnt to trick-ride and I’m training with Andy Butcher to be a stunt rider and hoping I can integrate horses into that.”
Ten of the original 17 starters jumped initial clears to qualify for round two and these were halved to five for the final jump-off against the clock. Callum hit top gear to register a 0.58 second win on Creevagh Ashling, a 7-year-old Camiro De Haar Z daughter purchased 18 months ago.
“Everyone took the same route but I was more forward to the fences. She’s brave and bold and progressing quickly, I think she’s got what it takes. At home she’s fairly chilled but at a show she’s buzzy and brightens up; she loves a show environment,” said Callum.
Joanne Foley guided Billy Seven into second place and Colin Keeling finished third aboard Berliner Luft WW.
