2014 Pony European Championships

British Showjumping would like to congratulate Mark McGowan on his recent selection and appointment by the FEI as the Course Designer for the 2014 Pony European Championships in Millstreet, Ireland from the 30th of July 2014 to 3rd August 2014.

Mark, an FEI Level 3 Course Designer and British Showjumping Advanced Course Designer, has been appointed by the FEI as Course Designer for 2 major FEI Championships previously; in 2008 for the Junior and Young Rider Championships in Prague, and again in 2010 for the Pony European Championships at Bishop Burton.

On receiving confirmation of his appointment, Mark stated “It is a tremendous honour to be considered once, but three times is simply unbelievable”.  Mark continued, “I am honoured to be given this opportunity once again, and hope that it can be as successful as the previous championships”.

British Showjumping would like to once again congratulate Mark on his appointment wish him the best of luck at the Championships.
