British Showjumping Just For Schools, Club and Academy Championships Update

As we approach the British Showjumping Academy Championships, we have some important updates to share with you.

The Championships will begin on Monday 12th August, running alongside the KBIS National Club Championships and the NAF 5* Style and Performance classes. The focus will then shift to the UNIBED – High Performance Equine Bedding Academy Championships on Tuesday 13th and Wednesday 14th August.

All finals will be held in the Championship Arenas on an all-weather surface, with coveted sashes and rugs for the winners, ensuring  a true Championships atmosphere. With around 350 Just For Schools and Club competitors and 500 Academy competitors in over 34 classes, the Academy Championships promises to be a fabulous day out with exciting competition on display. The show is free to visit for spectators and supporters, making it an event not to be missed!

We are also excited to highlight the Just for Schools League Winners Training Camp. This training camp offers jumping sessions, talks and entertainment to the winning team and top two individuals from each league, kindly supported by The Worshipful Company of Saddlers. With participants only needing to cover the costs of their stabling and accommodation, the Just for Schools League Winners Training Camp really is an invaluable experience! With the League Period now coming to an end, we will soon be finalising the invitees. If you aren’t invited this year, it is definitely something to aim for next year!

Looking ahead to next season, the League Periods for both Just For Schools and Club will run from 1st July 2024 to 31st May 2025. As of 1st June 2025, the qualifying periods will run from 1st June to 31st May each year.
