WILL FUNNELL & ANNA EDWARDS DOMINATE MIJAS CSI2* GRAND PRIX

William Funnell from Dorking and Anna Edwards from Clevedon made GB’s presence felt in Mijas, Spain yesterday when they took the top two places respectively in the CSI2* Master Tour Grand Prix.

The pair of them jumped the only double clears of the competition and it was Will Funnell with his homebred 2013 European Team Gold medal ride 15 year-old brown stallion Billy Congo that secured first place with their time of 39.01 seconds. 

Anna and Blazer B, her 10 year old bay gelding whom she has produced since a 5 year old took second place with their time of 41.77 seconds. 

Doron Kuipers (NED) and Baileys took third as the fastest combination on 4 faults with Steven Franks, also for GB, taking fourth place with Carlow Cruiser .
