Douglas Duffin and Omex Star HBF Shine in the Redpost Equestrian Foxhunter Masters

The Redpost Equestrian Foxhunter Masters took centre stage on Thursday at the British Showjumping National Championships at Stoneleigh Park, with riders from across the country chasing one of the sport's most sought-after qualifications – a place in the Horse of the Year Show Foxhunter Championship this October.
With several combinations already having secured their qualification, others arrived determined to book their ticket to the iconic championship. As always, the Foxhunter Masters showcased the exciting young horses and talented riders progressing through the British Showjumping ranks.
Claiming the championship title was Douglas Duffin aboard Laura Tinto's home-bred seven-year-old mare, Omex Star HBF. The pair produced a superb performance to take the honours and add another significant achievement to their season.
Speaking after his victory, a delighted Douglas said: "She's already qualified for the Grade C. It's nice to have the Foxhunter as well, which is one of the most prestigious classes to qualify for."
The victory not only secured the prestigious Redpost Equestrian Foxhunter Masters title but also provides another confidence boost as the partnership looks ahead to the Horse of the Year Show, where they will compete against the country's best in one of the most celebrated championships of the season.
With Stoneleigh success now behind them, Douglas and Omex Star HBF have firmly set their sights on October, where they will aim to build on their impressive form under the lights at the Horse of the Year Show.
