Win a pair of tickets to Boomerang Hickstead

Boomerang Hickstead is a brand new music festival held at the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead on Saturday 12 and Sunday 13 September 2015, and British Showjumping has a pair of weekend tickets to give away for one lucky winner and a friend, worth £150.

Hickstead is known as the home of British showjumping, but this new departure is set to see thousands of music fans visit the famous showground in West Sussex and enjoy the superb facilities on offer – and to see some major music stars take to the stage.

Taking the stage to headline the Saturday night, legendary British live act Simple Minds will perform hits from across their illustrious career and songs from their latest album ‘Big Music’.  Supporting Simple Minds are Scottish twin brothers Craig and Charlie Reid, better known as The Proclaimers and country music-influenced duo, The Shires, as well as up and coming phenomenon Andreya Triana.

On Sunday, global superstar, Jessie J arrives in Sussex to perform chart favourites including ‘Domino’, ‘Price Tag’ and latest number one smash ‘Bang Bang’.  Joining Jessie J as a headliner are super group, The Vamps.  Further support comes from ‘Keep On Movin’ and ‘Back To Life’ award winners Soul II Soul and rising singer songwriter star, Rae Morris.

Not only will Hickstead's International Arena provide a unique venue to witness performances from some of the world's best-selling artists, but the two-day music event will also include gourmet pop up restaurants, street food stalls and alternative entertainment.

The event will also help the Bunn family, directors of the All England Jumping Course, to invest more money back into the sport. This is something that was also very important to Hickstead's founder, the late Douglas Bunn, whose vision and passion helped the showground grow to become one of the most famous venues in the horse world.

The event is named after Boomerang, Eddie Macken's famous horse who won the Hickstead Derby a record four consecutive times from 1976 to 1979. Every June, the winner of the Equestrian.com Derby is presented with the Boomerang Trophy, made in his honour.

Standard ticket prices start from £45 while full weekend admission costs £75. For more details visit http://boomeranghickstead.com/

To enter the competition please tell us whether Hickstead is in:

Your answer needs to then be emailed to:  press@britishshowjumping.co.uk with Boomerang and your membership number in the reference field no later than midday on the 31st July.  The winner will be selected at random and notified within a few days of the closing date.
