BRITISH SHOWJUMPING RIDDEN JUMPING STALLION ASSESSMENTS
Wednesday 07 April 2010

British Showjumping is planning to hold a Ridden Jumping Stallion Assessments on Saturday 24th April at the Scottish National Equestrian Centre (SNEC), Oatridge, Ecclesmachan, West Lothian, EH52 6NL, during their scheduled Show.
The British Showjumping Ridden Stallion Assessments are for those stallions that have been graded by loose jumping, or for 4 & 5 year old stallions that have not yet been graded. In the case of these 4 & 5 year olds, a British Showjumping Ridden Jumping Assessment would qualify them for one year’s registration at the nominal fee (without the stallion surcharge), but they are then expected to go on to a full Stallion grading, at a Breed Society, before re-registration again the following year. These Assessments will take place during the scheduled classes. The Ridden Jumping Assessment is to test the stallion’s temperament, ride-ability, technique and performance whilst at a Show, both jumping and in the Collecting Ring.
For further details of British Showjumping Ridden Stallion Assessments please refer to the 2010 Stallion Rules and Guidelines for Jumping Stallions.
If you wish for a British Showjumping Ridden Jumping Stallion Assessment for your horse or pony on 24th April, please contact George Blackie at the SNEC: 01698 286406 / 01506 865714, or Liz Bain at the British Showjumping Offices on: 02476 698803 as soon as possible. These Stallion Assessments will only take place if there is sufficient interest from stallion owners and riders.
