Leading British and US Show Jumpers Head to  The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show

THIS year’s Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show will see a seriously strong American contingent competing alongside major British stars and other international riders at the spectacular Cheshire event.

British legends John and Michael Whitaker are set to compete with son Robert and nephews William and Joe also heading to the magnificent Bolesworth Castle Estate.

Regular competitors Peter Charles and William Funnell are joined by female stars  Laura Renwick, Jessica Mendoza, Anna Power, Harriet Nuttall and Louise Saywell who are sure to give the men a run for their money throughout the show.

From the USA leading names Lauren Hough, Paris Selon, Eve Jobs the daughter of Steve Jobs, the late founder of Apple, Reed Kessler, Christine McCrea, and 19-year-old rising star, Teddy Vlock are just some of the American riders taking part in the 4* classes.

Lauren Hough goes to Bolesworth International following a great start to the season with top placings throughout the winter circuit in Wellington, Florida and her spectacular victory in the Great America $1million in Ocala.

Said Show President Nina Barbour: “We are looking forward to giving the US riders a warm welcome and are without doubt set for some fantastic show jumping with many of the world’s most skilled riders set to compete over courses set by Alan Wade who built the World Cup Final and London Olympics course builder Bob Ellis.”

The 2017 event takes place from June 14 to 18 in the stunning grounds of Bolesworth Castle near Tattenhall, Chester.

After the thrill of the equestrian competitions and all that shopping, there’s plenty of choice for refreshments, with a whole host of food and drink options. From gourmet burgers and delicious food in the Bolesworth Bistro to fine dining in the VIP Hospitality Suite, you’re not going to go hungry!

The Equerry Bolesworth International Horse Show runs from Wednesday, June 14 to Sunday, June 18. Get 40% off gate prices if you pre-book your tickets online.
