Seaton’s Lola Tremlett aged eleven secured first place last month at Tall Trees Arena in the Schools 70cm League Class

Lola Tremlett, aged 11 from Seaton secured first place last month in the Schools 70cm League Class at Tall Trees Arena. Riding for Perrott Hill School, Lola and her pony Merridge Alfie Moon jumped a fast round that proved hard to beat.

 

Speaking afterwards about her performance Lola said; “Merridge Alfie Moon is very whizzy, forward-going, loves to jump and can turn on a sixpence.”

 

Lola’s mum Alice commented; “The children compete for points and can monitor the league tables online, the courses are professionally built and competing as a team is great, we love the team spirit of our school.” 

 

Lola added; “We have a brilliant team and competing with my friends is one of the best bits. My aim for this year is to get winning times in the jump-off and compete at the British Showjumping National Championships.”

The ‘Just for Schools’ League run by British Showjumping offers riders the chance to compete Individually or as a Team in classes ranging from 70cm to 1.10m with the chance to qualify for the Championships.
