Retraining of Racehorses National Recognition Awards

The Retraining of Racehorses (RoR) National Recognition Awards are open to those owners and riders of retrained racehorses that are registered with both British Showjumping and RoR and have raced in GB.

These awards are aimed at encouraging and identifying retrained racehorses that are competing nationally with British Showjumping and they will recognise those retrained racehorses competing within the British Showjumping Spring/Summer Gold and Silver Horse Leagues.

A cash award will be given to the owners of the highest graded horses that have been awarded the highest number of points at the highest level during the 1st April - 30th September each year.

The cash awards are broken down as follows:
1st - £1,000.00 (plus invites to the presentation)

The winners will be identified by selecting the highest placed eligible horses with points in the Gold League section. If none qualify, it will move to the highest placed eligible horses in the Silver League section.

For more information on how Gold and Silver League Points are allocated, please click here. The Gold section reflects results for horse/rider combinations that have winnings or double clears at 1.35m and above in National and International Shows hosted within England, Scotland and Wales whilst the Silver section recognises points allocated for classes run between 1.15m – 1.30m. To be eligible for this recognition riders must be at least 15 years old on 1 January of that year.
