SCOTTISH AWARDS BALL IS A NIGHT TO REMEMBER!

 This year the Scottish Branch Awards Ball was an evening of fun, laughter, dancing and recognising the many success stories Scotland’s talented riders have achieved in 2011.

The beautiful Venue, Airth Castle Hotel, was the setting for this fabulous evening.  Airth Castle Hotel is part of the Aurora Hotel Collection and with their help Scottish Branch was able to host a full weekend of offers from spa treatments to fabulous overnight package deals.

With tickets sold out and over 300 people attending the event it was a night when everyone from the Scottish Showjumping world could dress up and let their hair down.  The room was full of glamorous dresses and smart tuxedos for this black tie affair.

Through the evenings itinerary there was a three course meal, the awards for the Scottish Riders, a raffle and auction.  To finish the night off a live band and disco played which as soon as the lights went down and the music came on every table emptied to take to the dance floor.

The auction was fabulous and the very kind donation of Ellen Whitakers jacket from Morag and Alistair Crocket managed to raise an astounding £950.00 for Scottish Branch.  Aurora Hotels also donated a night’s stay at the Hotel all inclusive which raised £450.00.

A thank you must go to all the sponsors who made the evening such a success and to the wonderful staff at Airth Castle Hotel for ensuring a fantastic night was had by all.
