Judges Exams - Associate to 1* Judge

For 2013, we are organising Exams for Associate Judges to 1* Judges on a Regional Basis rather than having them centrally or after each of the Officials Conferences.

We plan on having 1 exam in each region around April/May and another around September/October.

Once details are confirmed, details will be emailed out to all eligible judges to confirm if they are interested in taking their exam for upgrade.

Provisional details for the April/May exams are as follows: -

· 08^th April 2013 - South West Region

· 09^th April 2013 - Eastern Region

· 15^th April 2013 - Wales Region

· 17^th April 2013 - East Midlands Region

· 22^nd April 2013 - Northern Region

· 24^th April 2013 - South West Region

· 09^th May 2013 - Jersey / Guernsey

· May - Scotland

· TBC - West Midlands

The venue and start time for each region is still TBC, however I envisage the exams will start at 1900hrs in each region. The structure is remaining the same, with a written (open book) exam lasting an hour, followed by an oral (closed book) exam lasting for about 10 - 15 mins.

If you would like to take your exam for upgrade, please email Rob Ellis on Rob.Ellis@BritishShowjumping.co.uk confirming which date and region you would like to take your exam in and he will make sure more details are sent out to you as soon as they are confirmed.
