Sportivate - Northamptonshire

The second of the 2013 East Midlands Sportivate courses started last night at Moulton College, Northamptonshire. Lead by Dan Delsart, the 8 riders were put through their paces working with poles on a figure of eight to ensure that they could ride accurately and straight. The riders also worked on their transitions in preparation for the following sessions where they will start jumping. The Sportivate courses are held for 6 weeks and are designed to encourage 14-25 year olds to do more Sport. Funded by Sport England, the sessions are available at a heavily subsidised rate of £90 for 6 sessions. Another Sportivate course is due to start next week at Risholme College (weather permitting!)
