Harriet Nuttall wins All England Grand Prix
Sunday 01 September 2019
A new name was added to the roll of honour in the Science Supplements All England Grand Prix at Hickstead this afternoon with Harriett Nuttall winning on the talented Galway Bay Jed.
Harriet, who took the British Showjumping National Champion title at Stoneleigh Park last month with her other top ride A touch Imperious , took the benefit of being drawn last in the jump-off to shave 0.5 seconds off Lily Freeman Attwood’s leading time.
It was a perfectly judged performance by the Somerset rider who has an incredible record at the All England Jumping Course, Hickstead and it marked a return to form for the combination who had a fall during July’s five-star international show.
For Lily and Cor Leon van de Vlierbeek Z it was a 2nd place finish whilst Georgia Tame with Jeff ten Halven and Louise Whitaker with Special Warrior took 3rd and 4th respectively.
