Victoria Moore takes top spot in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round at Chard Equestrian

Producing three clear rounds of showjumping, Victoria Moore jumped in to first place in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Round which took place at Chard Equestrian in Crewkerne, Somerset.

A determined field of forty-three starters began the class with high hopes of claiming a place in the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Championship Final which is to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships in August. With fifteen combinations taking their place in the final jump off, all were keen to achieve a sought after treble clear as this would secure their qualification place.

Victoria Moore travelled from Didcot, Oxfordshire with her 12 year-old chestnut mare Veuve De Bomonde. This combination put forward two accurate clear rounds for their place in the jump off where they rode a lightning fast round in 29.85 seconds to secure a treble clear and first place.

With another seven combinations also achieving a treble clear, a total of eight combinations now go forward to the KBIS Insurance Senior British Novice Second Rounds Final.
