Pippa Goddard & Chilli win FEI World Breeding 5 Year Old Championships

It was a fantastic day for British rider Pippa Goddard when she rode Chilli to Championship title victory in the Zangersheide – FEI World Breeding Jumping Championships for Young Horses.

Chilli, a 5 year-old Grey mare owned by Thomas Williams, delivered both a scopey and fast clear to claim the title in the 1.30m Championships for 5 year-olds by just 1/10th of a second.  German bred (Colestus/Colorit) Chilli started competing internationally this year in Vejer de la Frontera in the CSIYH1* classes before Pippa Goddard took the rider over this summer where she had a 2nd place finish in a CSIYH2* class in Valkenswaard before taking 1st in the Non-British bred 5 year-old Final at the British Showjumping Young Horse Championships at Addington Manor, Buckinghamshire.
