Horse of the Year Show Box Office Opening Date Announced

After months of anticipation, a date has finally been set for the release of the highly-demanded Horse of the Year Show (HOYS) 2016 tickets. Fans will be able to purchase their tickets from Monday the 8th of February. Past Bookers will be given the exclusive opportunity to purchase tickets before the general public from the 1st of February. The Show organisers, Grandstand Media Ltd. are looking forward to welcoming over 60,000 visitors to Birmingham’s NEC from Wednesday 5th October - Sunday 9th October for another exceptional Show.

HOYS 2016 is full of exciting features, from showing championships, the famous puissance to the thrilling Virbac 3D Worming Pony Club Mounted Games. This year is sure to bring more excitement with a line up due to be announced shortly! 

Friday will be the day of choice for dressage fans. There will be a unique opportunity to learn from the best in the dressage industry, before the country’s top young horses take centre stage in the Dressage Future Elite Championship. 

On the Showing front, there are two new Championships for competitors to contest. The Junior Mountain and Moorland Ridden Pony of the Year Championship opens up entries for the first time, as well at The British Ridden Heavy Horse Championship. Both will make for exciting additions to the HOYS 2016 programme.

On top of all of this excitement, well-loved regulars will return, including the most prestigious national showing and showjumping Championships, 11 international showjumping classes, Virbac 3D Worming Pony Club Mounted Games, Osborne Refrigerators Double Harness Scurry Racing, the hugely-popular Retail Village, and our spectacular displays that will be announced very soon.

Tickets
Ticket prices start from £33.00 with concessions available for senior citizens and children aged 14 years and under. All tickets are subject to booking fees. Season Tickets
Season tickets valid for every performance throughout the week are available. Prices start at £309 for adults and £258 for children under 14 and senior citizens. Tickets are available now for past bookers, and general public tickets will go on sale from the 8th of February. Call 02476 858205 

Groups
Groups of 12 or more will benefit from excellent discounts, while groups of 30 or more will receive even bigger discounts. All group bookings will also benefit from a reduced booking fee. 

Wednesday/Thursday:
15% for groups of 12 or more
20% for group of 30 or more

Friday/Saturday/Sunday:
5% for groups of 12 or more
10% for group of 30 or more

Hospitality
Hospitality is available as tiered seating from £139 for adults and £69.50 for children, Hospitality boxes are also available for 8 to 20 people and start from £1,200 excluding VAT. While Champions’ Bar tickets start from £76.20. All prices are excluding VAT.
