British Showjumping’s Youth Teams announced for Nations Cup in Compiegne, France

The following four youth squads have been selected to represent Great Britain at the FEI Jumping Youth Nations Cup of Compiegne. The competition takes place between 27th and 30th April 2023 at Stade Equestre Du Grand Parc, France.

Meet the squads:

Pony Squad

Harriet Hodge, from Yorkshire, with the 9-year-old dun gelding Little Charlie II, owned by Mark Hodge.

Tabitha Kyle, from Leicestershire, with either the 13-year-old bay gelding Atomic Du Bary or the 14 year-old bay gelding Gangnam Style II, both owned by TJ Hall Limited.

Izabella Rogers, from Chelmsford, with 11-year-old bay gelding Neil 55, owned by Nicola Rogers.

Sula Von Bülow, from London, with the 15-year-old grey mare Cul Ban Mistress, owned by Sharifa Al-Homaizi.

Noora Von Bülow, from London with the 19-year-old bay gelding Elando Van de Roshoeve, owned by Sharifa Al-Homaizi.

 

 

Children Squad

Rosie Campbell, from Gloucestershire, with the 13-year-old bay gelding Appy Du Chalet, owned by Lucinda Campbell.

Jasmine Chaabane, from Brighton, with the 11-year-old grey mare Woodview’s Willow, owned by Lin Zhao.

Emily Gulliver, from London, with the 8-year-old bay mare Fleur De Nuit 8, owned by Ben Gulliver.

Archie Kendle from Norfolk, with the 11-year-old bay gelding Kinnegads Lightning, owned by Rhyleigh Rose Kendle. 

Sienna Lanni, from Peterborough, with the 10-year-old chestnut gelding Bermudez BDA, owned by Jill Williams.

 

 

Junior Squad

Olivia Banks, from Chester, with the 12-year-old grey mare Geodina HS, owned by Emma Banks.

Poppy Deakin, from Newcastle Upon Tyne, with the 9-year-old chestnut mare Qlicious, owned by Felicity Deakin.

Phoebe Farman, from Surrey, with either the 10-year-old bay gelding Iniesta II or the 8-year-old grey mare Asena, both owned by Tracy Priest.

Henry Squibb, from Essex, with either the 8-year-old bay mare Diatencona PS, owned by Amy Squibb and Emily Fenn or the 13-year-old bay gelding Alothain De Blondel, owned by Amy Squibb.

Maisy Williams, from York, with either the 14-year-old bay gelding Dalton D’Hoyo or the 15-year-old bay gelding Devil V.D To Jo Pe Hoeve, both owned by Guy Williams.

 

 

Young Riders Squad

Elizabeth Baker, from Kent, with her own 15-year-old bay gelding, Uno Du Thot.

Jennifer Billington, from Wrexham, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Flipper Darco UK Z, owned by Paul Billington.

Jess Hewlett, from Oxfordshire, with her own 10-year-old chestnut gelding Ilmar HBC.

Izac Ketteridge, from Essex, with the 12-year-old bay gelding Galerius, owned by Elisha Simmons.

Sandy Mclean, from Midlothian, with the 12-year-old chestnut gelding Gino F, jointly owned by Marjory McNaughton and Sandy Mclean.

 

 

The Chef d’Équipe for the Children on Horses and Ponies Teams will be Clare Whitaker.

The Chef d’Équipe for the Junior and Young Riders Teams will be Tony Newbery.

The GBR showjumping teams are supported by the British Equestrian Federation’s World Class Programme, funded by UK Sport through the National Lottery. The Programme focuses on identifying talent, developing potential and maximising medal-winning performances on the world stage. The teams are further supported by LeMieux, who supply the teams with their saddlepads and rugs.
