Ben Maher takes Second Place in the CSI3* Grand Prix in Oliva

Ben Maher takes the runners-up spot in the Spring MET Mediterranean Equestrian Tour CSI3* Grand Prix in Oliva Nova, Spain with F One USA, a 10 year-old Dutch-bred gelding owned by Poden Farms.
Fifty-seven competitors took on the 1.50m first round track with twelve progressing onto the jump-off. Belgian rider Jean-Christophe de Grande took the top spot with Belano Vd Winjnhoeve Z narrowly beating Ben by 0.21 seconds, crossing the finish line in 40.07 seconds, with Ben posting a time of 40.28 seconds. Third place went to Thierry Rozier from France and Venezia d’Eccaussinnes, they crossed the finish line in 40.68 with British rider Amy Inglis coming home in 43.73 seconds to claim fourth place with Claire Inglis’ homebred chestnut mare Wishes.
