CSI2 Chepstow International - Day 3

The Big  Tour 1.40m speed class brought with it a win for Paul Barker and Happy Boy having stopped the clock with no penalties in a time of 59.86 seconds.  Chelsea Skelton with Caramba took 2nd in a time of 60.44 whilst Matthew Sampson and Cristobal 21 took 3rd having broken the finish line in 61.50 seconds.

It as Harry Charles, who took the Welsh Masters title just a few weeks ago making him the youngest rider to ever do so, that won the Medium Tour 1.40m Grand Prix.  Riding Dauphin, he as the fastest of the only three double clears of the competition shaving almost four seconds from Holly Gillots time on Pls Halo Diamond relegating her into 2nd place.  Father Peter Charles, ith  ABC Quantum Cruise took 3rd place, making it the second time at Chepstow within the past few weeks that he has beaten by son Harry.

The Small Tour 1.35m Grand Prix saw the young and extremely talented Jack Whitaker post a win in the Small Tour Gand Prix with Native de Vesquerie. Their jump-off clear saw them deliver a time of 34.01 seconds to pip Keith Shore and Zegreanne Z to the post with their time of 34.15 seconds.  Jay Halim and Abrisco took 3rd place in the competition that saw just short of eighty competitors come forward.

Benjamin Raistrick secured the Gold Tour 1.25m speed with Top Limit in a time of 59.09 seconds, just .06 seconds ahead of 2nd placed Declan Irvine and Keeford Carousel.  Olivia Gent finished 3rd on Carnavals wonder in a time of 68.10 seconds.

A hard fought Silver Tour Accumulator saw almost a third of the sixty strong field hit maximum points so time became a critical factor.  It was Charles Richards with Pebbly Role model that took first place in their time of 50.82 seconds ahead of Michael Fursedonn and Foxtrot van den Aard in 90.80 seconds.  Scott Dollemore took 3rd with Bushertowns Lad in 68.10 seconds.
