The new Area committee has managed to secure a sponsor for a 1.25m Championship class at next years South of England show. The class will take place on the Saturday of the show with a prize fund of £750.

Qualifying classes will take place at Pyecombe, Felbridge, Coomblands and Petley Wood and will be incorporated into Foxhunter/1.20 classes..All placed horses and double clears to qualify for this new championship class. If the class is oversubscri...bed riders may be limited to 2 rides.
Entries for the finals must be made online through the SEAS website by 25th May.
Updated qualifying lists will be available on the centres websites.
Qualifiers arranged so far are at Petley Wood on November 7th,November 26th,December 28th, January 21st and January 30th and at Felbridge on 4th/11th/18th/25th November. Further dates will be published at the other centres when they recommence there shows in February.

The committee also plan on running the Area Ball at Hickstead on Saturday 31st March....more details coming soon.

A junior Area show is also scheduled for 28th April at Petley, if you feel willing to sponsor a class, please get in touch.

Plans are also afoot for senior training with visiting coaches invited and ROR training in the New Year.

A plea now goes out to try and track down some of the Area trophies, we are missing the Lionel Harding Young riders trophy and The Rodaway Sussex Haylage trophy.We have plans to represent these in 2018 for any info greatly appreciated,
