British Showjumping’s Team NAF Children, Junior & Young Rider European Championship Squads Announced

The following squads have been selected to represent Great Britain under the title sponsor banner of Team NAF in the Children, Junior & Young Rider European Championships in Zuidwolde, The Netherlands. The competition takes place between the 7th – 14th July 2019 at the Showground Jan Broek Stables.

Children
Phoebe Farman, aged 13, from Cranleigh, Surrey with Calle, a 19 year-old bay gelding owned by Tracy Priest and Penelope Priest

Amelie Gachoud, aged 14, from West Horsley, Surrey with HMF Evito, a 10 year-old bay gelding owned by HMF Equestrian

Aimee Jones, aged 14, from Shrewsbury, Shropshire with Zoverla, a 15 year-old chestnut mare owned by Alison Sargeant

Tabitha Kyle, aged 11, from Loughborough, Leicestershire with Grennanstown Sarco Luxhill, a 9 year-old bay gelding owned by Holly Smith

Chloe Lemieux, aged 13, from Southampton, Hampshire with Freya, a 9 year-old bay mare owned by Robert Lemieux

Junior
Sienna Charles, aged 16, from Alton, Hampshire with Chinta van Geluut Z, a 10 year-old chestnut mare owned by Hill House Equine Ltd

Oliver Fletcher, aged 16, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with Hello Disckoboy D.N., an 11 year old grey gelding owned by Lady Kirkham and Lady Harris

Lily Freeman-Attwood, aged 17, from Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire with Karibou Horta, a 9 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Eurohorse – Axel Verlooy

Oliver Tuff, aged 16, from Totnes, Devon with Darino B, an 11 year-old bay gelding owned by Jo Bishop and Justin Tuff

Jack Whitaker, aged 17, from Whatton, Nottinghamshire with Scenletha, a 9 year-old dark brown mare owned by Michael Whitaker

Young Rider
Leonie Aitkenhead, aged 21, from Gainsborough, Lincolnshire with Jimmy Mack van Berkenbroeck, a 10 year-old bay gelding owned by Beverley Aitkenhead

Graham Babes, aged 21, from Kilmarnock, Ayrshire with Boucheron, a 13 year-old bay gelding owned by Graham

William Fletcher, aged 20, from Faringdon, Oxfordshire with Persimmon, a 13 year-old brown gelding owned by Graham Fletcher

Jodie Hall-McAteer, aged 19, from Borehamwood, Hertfordshire with Salt N Peppa, a 10 year-old chestnut gelding owned by Mandy Hall

Joseph Stockdale, aged 19, from Roade, Northamptonshire with Don Diego de Plata, a 10 year-old bay gelding owned by Laura Stockdale

The Children Team medals will be decided on Thursday 11th July whilst the Junior & Young Rider Team medals will be decided on Friday 12th July. The Children will then compete for their Individual medals on Saturday 13th July whilst the Juniors & Young Riders will jump for their respective Individual medals on Sunday 14th July. The Chef d’Equipe’s accompanying the teams will be Tony Newbery and Clare Whitaker.
