Equestrian coaching surveys launched – your help needed

The British Equestrian Federation and its Member Bodies, in conjunction with sports coach UK, are pleased to announce the launch of two new surveys on teaching/instructing/coaching in the sport.
 
One survey is for instructors/teachers/coaches whilst the other is aimed at Centres/Facilities providing teaching/coaching in equestrian sports.
 
The purpose of the research is to understand more about the instructing/teaching/coaching that is provided in equestrian sports:
 
·          What and who is taught/coached
·          How much teaching/coaching is provided
·          Understanding development opportunities that might be provided to equestrian teachers/coaches
·          Valuing and recognising the coaching that is provided
 
The results of the research will be used by the BEF and Member Bodies to allocate funding and improve services to its members, so your support would be greatly appreciated. Paper copies of the surveys have been sent to teachers/coaches and centres/facilities on Member Bodies’ databases but these are now available online for those who would prefer to respond in this way.
 
The surveys can be completed online by using the following links:
 
Survey for teachers/instructors/coaches, taking approximately 15-20 minutes:

For the teachers/coaches’ survey taking approximately 15-20 minutes:
·        1 x £150 vouchers from an equestrian supplier of your choice (Survey completion deadline 22 October 2010 for inclusion in this draw)
The two prizes will be allocated randomly to one coach from those responding to the questionnaire by the return date indicated.
 
For the Centres/Facilities’ survey taking approximately 25-30 minutes:
An opportunity to win one great prize consisting of;
·        1 x £100 Dodson & Horrell vouchers PLUS
·        1 x Dodson & Horrell free forage analysis PLUS
·        1 x Dodson & Horrell free telephone nutritional consultation
 
The prize will be allocated randomly to one Centre/Facility from those responding to the survey by the completion deadline on 15 October 2010.
