Olympia, The London International Horse Show, Young Lions Under 25 years British Championship

British Showjumping is pleased to announce that a Championship class for riders aged 25 years and under called The Young Lions British Championship will be hosted at Olympia, The London International Horse Show which takes place between 17 - 23 December 2018.

The qualification and eligibility criteria for the twenty four riders who will be invited to compete at the 2018 Championship is as follows:

  • The five team members from the Junior FEI European Championships
  • The team members who jumped clear in the Junior Nations Cup Final
  • The five team members from the Young Rider team at the FEI European Championships
  • The Under 25 riders that have been selected as part of the team of five for any Senior Nations Cup teams in 2018.
  • The remaining spaces will be filled by the FEI ranking list from the end of August No. 212
  • Any riders unable to accept their place on a Grade A or Grade B horse will be substituted with riders based on performances throughout the season, taking into account Nations Cup performances, FEI Longines Ranking list and riders performances at viewing shows.

Qualified riders will be listed on the British Showjumping website at http://www.britishshowjumping.co.uk/page/Junior-And-Young-Rider

All qualified riders will be notified directly by British Showjumping
