FIRST & THIRD FOR MEGAN JAMES AT TOWERLANDS PARK

Sunday 24th January saw Towerlands Park host one of the British Showjumping Business Partnership Winter Novice qualifiers. The final will be held at The Longines Royal International Horse Show, Hickstead from the 27th July to the 1st August 2010.
Seventeen year old Megan James from Chelmsford, Essex, took first place with Andrew Peters’ nine year old grey gelding, The High Roller, jumping a double clear in a time of 37.62 seconds. Megan also took third with Charlene Nathan’s nine year old black gelding, Unistar, with a double clear in a time of 39.03 seconds. Second place went to Barry Dove from Essex with his own six year old chestnut gelding, Aristo Z, who went double clear in a time of 38.93 seconds.
Both Megan and Barry have qualified for the final at Hickstead.
