Weekend Senior International Round Up

British riders abroad over the weekend had a successful few days with Huddersfield based John Whitaker taking the Leading Rider title at the CSI3* even at Aalst in Belgium. John accrued some good placings with his wife’s (Claire) 10 year-old bay stallion Argento and Gaynor Kingston’s 9 year-old grey stallion Cornetto King.
 
At the same show in Aalst, Joe Clee with his own Diablesse de Muze finished in 3rd place in the €30,000 Grand Prix.
 
At the CSI3* event in lons Le Saunier, France both Laura Renwick and Daniel Neilson from Essex gave solid results for Great Britain in the €30,000 Grand Prix.  

Laura riding Lady Pauline Kirkham & Lady Pauline Harris’ 10-year-old chestnut gelding Oz de Breve took 2nd place with Daniel and Celia Mason’s Varo M a 10-year-old chestnut gelding finished just behind her in 3rd place. Guy Williams back with the ride on Titus II took 6th place.
