Authorisation to Compete Overseas

All horses and riders wishing to compete abroad, including riders receiving personal invitations, in international competitions, must apply to the British Showjumping International Office for authorisation.  Selection policies are available here.

Horse/rider combinations will only be authorised to compete abrad at the level sat which they are consistently/successfully competing in the UK.

All Applications for authorisation will be considered by the World Class Performance Manager on a case by case basis.  Authorisation may be withdrawn if the Team Manager deems the entry to be inappropriate.
