NAF 5* Style and Performance Final Round up from The British Showjumping Just for Schools, Clubs and Academy Championships 2022
Thursday 11 August 2022
Well done to all the below winners on their ‘NAF Style and Performance’ training class achievements! The class formed part of a jam packed few days of showjumping action at The British Showjumping Just for Schools, Clubs and Academy Championships 2022 at NAEC Stoneleigh.
The section winners were:
The NAF 1* Style and Performance Final - Charlie Hylden-Thorne & Landis Black Pepper.
The NAF 2* Style and Performance Final - Lulu Saunders & Spring Court Bailey.
The NAF 3* Style and Performance Final - Sofia Burrell & Eight.
Stephanie Toogood, British Showjumping’s Head of Training & Development commented: “The NAF Style and Performance competitors received the test plan in advance so it was really impressive seeing how much work they had all put into preparing for the class. It was great seeing how much they all enjoyed the experience of being in our championship arena too.”
Judge Richard Seals viewed the competitors over a set course which contained flat work and jumping elements where they were judged across the test with a focus on their rhythm around the course, position, balance and overall fluency.
Riders qualified for the NAF Style and Performance Finals by achieving their 1*, 2* or 3* level training certificate from Horse or Pony British Showjumping Five Star Award Programme, sponsored by NAF.
