Grade C horses who have not won more than 125 points are eligible for this series, as well as all registered horses aged four years and under in the same calendar year as the Championship Final, irrespective of points.

Commenting on this announcement, Charlotte Walker, National Sales Manager for Niagara Equissage, said "We are delighted to be continuing our sponsorship of the British Novice for the 3rd year. The British novice is such a fundamental part of the horses training and it’s wonderful to be meeting so many riders through the sponsorship who progress to higher levels and use Equissage Products".

Maria Haig, Head of Communications at British Showjumping, said “We welcome the opportunity to continue working alongside Equissage Pulse who share our values in respect of ensuring equine welfare is paramount. The British Novice is one of the most highly contested series in our competition structure and is the foundation for many horses and riders to build from and therefore offers an ideal platform for Equissage to promote their products which improve horse’s general health and well-being.”

Horses have until the end of April 2022 to jump a minimum of four double clears in any first round competitions to qualify for the second rounds. From each of the twelve second rounds held nationwide, all triple clears or the top one, two or three horses (depending on number of starters) will qualify to compete for the highly desired Equissage Pulse Senior British Novice Champion title at the Final held at the British Showjumping National Championship between 2nd and 9th August 2022.
