Aneeka Moody is awarded the June Shining Star award!

 

Twenty One year old Aneeka Moody joined the Area 42 Junior academy training sessions in the spring and was nominated for this award by coach Nicky Florence.

 

Nicky coaches Aneeka both at Junior Academy sessions and private lessons and has found her to be a very dedicated rider.

 

Nicky comments “Aneeka and I established, at the beginning, some areas where improvement could be made to improve her performance. After each session and some private coaching I would give Aneeka “homework”. Aneeka proved to be dedicated to improving, and the homework was always carried out to perfection. In addition Aneeka always came back to the sessions with queries from her work at home. This dedication has brought about a great improvement in her riding and ring craftsmanship over a short period of time.

 

The NAF Shining Star Award was introduced when NAF became a British Showjumping Business Partner. The award is for members of a Junior Academy who have shown a great deal of commitment, progression and outstanding behavior along with their riding ability and much more. Riders are nominated by their lead coach, and then judged and awarded by NAF to one person each month.
