SCHEDULE WORDING FOR SENIOR COMPETITIONS

The value of the first cash prize must not exceed more than one third of the total prize fund, the last cash prize listed must not be less than the entry fee. (Non members entry fee or pre-entry fee)

Entry qualifications: 

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 225 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 314.6                                                                                                                      

(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1st January 2009, (or 2010 for competitions held in 2015) irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of five years or under in the same calendar year as the Senior Discovery Final - in accordance with rule 314.6   Four double clears will qualify.                                           

(A 1.00m Open may be run concurrently with a Discovery competition, however two sets of prize money must always be awarded and horses are only eligible to enter one section)

Entry qualifications:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 375 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 312.6

(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1st January 2008,(or 2009 for competitions held in 2015) irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of six years or under in the same calendar year as the EquestrianClearance.com Final - in accordance with rule 312.6 Four double clears to qualify.

Entry qualifications:

(a) For registered horses in Grade C that have not won a total of 700 points. Four double clears will qualify - in accordance with rule 310.6

(b) For all registered horses born on or after 1st January 2007,(or 2008 for competitions held in 2015)  irrespective of points. Horses will be eligible for double clear qualification to attend second rounds providing they reach the age of seven years or under in the same calendar year as the Horse & Hound Foxhunter Final - in accordance with rule 310.6 Four double clears will qualify.

Four double clears (subject to revision) to qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.00m Championship at the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is Pony/rider Combination.

Ponies may compete in one section only.  The Open Section is open to all; however those ponies competing in the Open or the Foxhunter Section, who are ridden by junior members who have not won a total of 350 Points in the 2013 calendar year are eligible for double clear qualification for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship. Four double clears (Subject to revision) will qualify for the Pony Restricted Rider 1.10m Championship to be held at the British Showjumping National Championships.  Qualification is Pony / Rider combination.  (Qualification period for 2015 final is 1st May 2014 - 30th April 2015)

For registered ponies not exceeding 148cms.

Open to all but for qualification purposes those pony/rider combinations that

have been placed in a Winter JA Classic or Pony Show Jumper of the Year qualifier will not be eligible to compete in the Final, to be held at the Welsh Home Pony to be held at Wales & West.

Qualifiers must jump clear in the first and second round. 1 double clear to qualify

 

 Winter 128cms Competition – First Round

For registered ponies that have won 30 points or more, not exceeding 128cms, ridden

by Junior members, age in accordance with Rule 77.13.  Pony riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in which thier eighth birthday is reached.

Rule 514    Table A7    Speed 325mpm    Height of fences 1.05m

Two double clears to qualify (subject to revision)

 

N.B. Any affiliated show held between the third weekend in September and first weekend in January of the qualifying period may schedule this competition without prior allocation by the British Showjumping Office

 

Winter 138cms Competition – First Round

For registered ponies that have won 30 Points or more, exceeding 128cms but not exceeding 138cms, ridden by Junior members, age in accordance with Rule 77.12.  Junior riders are not eligible to compete in this competition before the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached.

STEPPING STONES 128cms/138cms Handicap Qualifier
For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior members,
ages in accordance with Rules 77.12 & 77.13. Those riders up to the end of the calendar year in which the age
of 10 is reached are eligible to enter irrespective of Points achieved. Riders aged 10 years and over on
1st January in the calendar year, must not have won a total of 350 Points in the 128cms Section
and 700 Points in the 138cms Section. 128cms Ponies will not be permitted to enter the 138cms Section.
Once Riders have competed at, or 'ever' qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the final.
Once a pony has qualified with any rider for RIHS or HOYS in the current year, then it is not eligible to compete in this competition or in the Final.
Table A Two Rounds not against the clock. Rule 414
All equal first in Round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course

Four double clears to qualify for the British Showjumping National Championships. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination

This competition can be scheduled at any Pony Show between the dates of 1st January - 31st July.

SPRINGBOARD128CMS/138CMS RESTRICTED HANDICAP
For registered ponies not exceeding 138cms, to be ridden by Junior Members,
ages in accordance with Rule 77.12 & 77.13.
This competition is open to all but for qualification purposes:
In the 128cms Section Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of ten years is reached. Riders who reach the age of ten years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of 500 Points. In the 138cms Section Junior riders are eligible to enter, irrespective of Points achieved, before the calendar year in which the age of twelve is reached. Riders who reach the age of twelve years and over in the current calendar year, must not have won a total of 850 Points
Junior Riders are not eligible to enter the 138cms section until the calendar year in which their eighth birthday is reached.
128cms Ponies are not permitted to enter the 138cms Section.
Once Riders have competed at, or have ‘ever’ qualified for RIHS or HOYS on any height pony they are no longer eligible to compete in the Final.
Rule 415 Table A Two Rounds not against the clock. All equal first in Round one will go forward to Round Two over a shortened course
Speed 325mpm Height of fences: 128cms 90cms 138cms 1.00m

Two double clears to qualify for the Final. Qualification is Pony/Rider Combination. Ponies in the class must go into the jump off and go clear to gain it’s double clear round qualification.  in order to compete in the final, all qualified competitors ages must be in accordance with rule 77.12 / 77.13 in the year of the final.
Minimum 1st Prize £25       In the event of equality prize money is divided.
This competition can be scheduled at any Pony Show between the dates of 1st August – 31st January


10 Years and Under

For registered ponies not exceeding 128cms to be ridden by Junior members born in or after 1st January 2004 (for classes scheduled in 2014)

Table A, two rounds, not against the clock.  All equal first in round one go forward to round two over a shortened course.

Rule 289A (A)    Speed 325mpm   Height not exceeding 90cms in First Round
