Equilibrium Therapy® Massage Pad

< Back to shop

Equilibrium Therapy® Massage Pad The Equilibrium Therapy® Massage Pad is a lightweight portable massage pad, clinically proven to improve back flexibility and promote relaxation.
Tension is one of the most common reasons for poor performance in all disciplines and massage helps by promoting relaxation and increasing back flexibility.
The Equilibrium Therapy® Massage Pad can help to enhance the performance of competition horses, in a way that is completely drug-free and provides the horse with both physical and psychological benefits.

Massage helps to reduce stiffness caused by injury, chronic conditions or strenuous work. It does this by improving blood supply to the muscles. It also enhances relaxation, reducing the heart rate throughout the massage.
Shaped to follow the contours of the horses’ back and provide coverage from wither to quarters, the EQUILIBRIUM Therapy® Massage Pad can be used on all sizes of horse, before or after work or during rehabilitation from injury. Many showjumpers have noticed the benefits of using the pad during competitions by helping to keep their horses supple between classes.

The Equilibrium Therapy® Massage Pad has three different, easily adjustable programs that allow you to choose the intensity of the massage from: Low - to cool down after exercise, Medium - to warm muscles prior to exercise and High - to help alleviate back problems.

Within each program three different types of massage are used: pulsing, vibration and stroking, to ensure that the muscles are worked in different ways within every session for maximum benefit. Each massage session lasts for 30 minutes and the lightweight rechargeable battery lasts for at least six sessions.
